Acting on behalf of Wilson Bowden, Riddelltps has secured the development funding of one of the most exciting regeneration projects in Europe.

• Barnsley Markets comprise the redevelopment of an existing town centre site containing the Market Hall, various retail outlets, Council office accommodation, a multi storey car park and a vacant industrial unit.
• The new scheme will comprise 475,000 sqft of prime retail, leisure and residential accommodation anchored by a 90,000 sqft Debenhams department store and is due to complete in 2010.
• The completed development has a value of circa £225m. Riddelltps advised in the initial development funding and is retained in a consultancy role throughout the development process.
